| CSIOP Grand Prix Veolia Propreté Trophy: Emma O’Dwyer (IRL) delighted the public…and the Irish chef d’equipe! |
This year again, the Irish riders have been unbeatable in Fontainebleau, whatsoever in the CSIP or in the CSIOP. After a tremendous win in the Nations Cup on Saturday against Switzerland, 3 members of the Irish team grabbed the 3 first places. But for once, Tom Foley had to settle for the 2nd place behind his team mate Emma O’Dwyer. Already crowned in many international pony shows all over Europe, Emma beat Tom, winner of last year CSIOP Grand Prix, by only few hundreds of second. The spectators knew a real suspens till the end of the major class of this CSIOP of Fontainebleau. After the two rounds, Switzerland - which was back in France after 3 years off - and Ireland had a total of 20 points, leaving France at the 3rd place overall.
